This policy explains what personal data Michu Records (“we”, “us”) collects on michumusic.com, why, and what you can do about it. The controller is Michu Records. Contact: info@michumusic.com.
What we collect
- Email address — when you ask for a free download. We store it with the language you used, the record you downloaded, the time, and whether you agreed to receive emails about new records.
- Order data — when you buy a license. Payment is handled by our reseller Lemon Squeezy (see below). We receive and store your name, email address, the record, the license type, the amount and the order number, so that we can deliver files and issue your license.
- Technical data — our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies
We set one functional cookie, michu_free, after you leave your email for a free download, so you do not have to enter it again. It contains your email address and a signature and expires after one year. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- Delivering files and licenses you bought or requested — performance of a contract.
- Sending emails about new records — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Keeping order records — legal obligations (tax and accounting).
- Protecting the site against abuse — our legitimate interest.
Who processes it for us
- Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for all purchases. It collects your payment details directly; we never see card numbers. Its privacy policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the files. Its privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards these providers use (such as standard contractual clauses).
YouTube API Services
Our YouTube channels are managed with YouTube API Services. We use them only to publish and manage videos on our own channels; we do not access, collect or store data about viewers or any other YouTube user through them. The use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can review access granted to applications at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
How long we keep it
Emails for free downloads: until you ask us to delete them or withdraw consent. Order data: as long as tax and accounting law requires (up to 10 years), because it is also the proof of your license.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to info@michumusic.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
