These terms apply to the use of michumusic.com (the “site”), operated by Michu Records under the name Michu Records.
The archive
Every instrumental (“record”) on the site is an original work owned by Michu Records. Listening on the site does not grant any right to use a record. Use is only allowed under a license bought on the site, or the free download terms below.
Buying a license
- Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and merchant of record, which also handles taxes and payment questions. Its terms apply to the payment.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Lemon Squeezy may show local currency and add taxes where required.
- After payment you get a download page with the files and a license document. The rights you receive are set out in the License agreement.
- Exclusive licenses: one buyer per record. The first completed payment wins; the record is then removed from sale.
Digital content and refunds
The files are delivered immediately. By completing the purchase you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once the download is available, the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content no longer applies where the law allows this. If a file is faulty or missing, write to us and we will fix it or refund you.
Free downloads
Free downloads are tagged MP3 files. You may use them only for non-profit purposes (for example, writing, practising, or a non-monetised upload) with the credit “prod. Michu Records”. Any release on streaming services, monetised video, sale, sync or commercial use requires a paid license.
What you may not do
- Resell, share or re-upload the files as instrumentals, samples or loops, or claim them as your own work.
- Register a record, or a song containing it, with Content ID or any similar system in a way that claims the instrumental itself.
- Scrape the site, or interfere with its operation.
Liability
The site and files are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
